Do you need help with furniture removal?

When it comes to things like moving house, a lot of people feel that they do not need any help to get all of their stuff from one house to the other. This is a false assumption. You really should get help especially for the furniture removal part of things.

Think about it. If you borrow a friend’s bakkie and try to load your lounge suite into it, do you really think it will fit? You will most likely have to do two trips to just get the lounge suite moved. never mind the dining room table and the fridge and the washing machine and all the other things that you have lying around the house.

The other option would be to get hold of a furniture removal company and get them to help you do the move. You do not have to entrust all your delicate ornaments to them, you should be able to pack those into a box or two and move them in your car in one trip. They will be able to move the rest of your things in one trip though. They will have a large truck available that they can use to transport your furniture in.

What puts a lot of people off this option is the thought of paying a lot of money to have people move all their things for them. Think of it this way if you are of a similar mind. You will have to do a  lot of travelling back and forth if you try to do it by yourself. You are going to have to pay for the wear and tear on your car as well as all the petrol the travelling is going to use up. This will often work out to a lot more than you would pay the furniture removal company.

So if you are going to be moving and are considering doing all the furniture removal yourself, think again. You will keep your friends happier and probably spend a lot less by getting a moving company to help you out. Your furniture will be in good hands, do not worry.
